Here in the Cryptid Corner, the Uncles will discuss a wide verity of Cryptid creatures. This time we would like to talk about the Michigan Dogman! Also know as the Michigan Wearwolf, and The Beast of Bray Road. The first known appearance was in Wexford County in 1877. He is described as having a Wolf or Dog like head and a humanoid body, 7 feet tall and bi-pedal, but can be seen running on all fours. It's suggested that it's howl sounds like that of a Human Scream. \
According to legends, the Dogman sightings occur in ten year cycles on years that end in the number 7. Sightings mostly happen in the Northwestern quadrant of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Fear not, it has been said that one can start clapping loudly and yelling to deter the Dogman from attacking. Stay tuned for more Cryptid facts and interesting information in future blogs.
